Gavin has over 30 years of retail experience and has held various management roles within House of Fraser and the Uptons Department Store Group where he managed all areas of operations, logistics and concession partners.
Gavin joined Hilco in its first retail transaction in 2000 and specialises in operational strategies, stock clearance programmes and inventory valuations. He has advised on and managed the trading strategy of some of the most high-profile retail restructuring programmes in the UK and Europe, including Woolworths, Habitat, HMV, 99p Stores, BHS, Debenhams, Wilko and Sports Unlimited Retail (Netherlands).
